Transport for Melbourne regularly collaborates with other transport and land use advocacy groups including Rail Futures, the Victorian Transport Action Group (VTAG), Metropolitan Transport Forum (MTF), the Public Transport Users Association (PTUA) and the Town and Country Planning Association (TCPA).
Each advocacy group has its own particular focus, but there are overlapping agendas and aspirations for significantly improved transport and land use planning outcomes for Melbourne.
It is anticipated that the collaboration between the groups will increase in the future leading to collective advocacy, campaigning and formal submissions on agreed key transport and land use planning issues for Melbourne.
